This is one of the best reasons to always use premium cosmetics. Cheaper cosmetics are often low quality and the money you save isn't worth the problems you may create.
Before you use any cosmetic, read the instructions and precautions that come with them and always test them as recommended before you apply them to sensitive areas. Most women are not aware that cosmetics can start to breakdown in time, so never use makeup more than one year old.
If you wear contact lenses, you should be especially careful in choosing your eye makeup to make sure it is hypoallergenic and won't flake off into your eyes and contaminate your lenses.
