It's amazing how many different kinds of soaps there are on the market. Some have different scents; others have different purposes. A soap you use on your body can't necessarily be used on your face. And, you wouldn't want to use a bath soap to help you shave; there are shaving soaps for that.
Facial skin is often delicate and needs special attention. Special soaps exist for almost every purpose relating to the needs of your facial skin. There are soaps that help against acne; there are soaps for oily skin, soaps for sensitive skin, soaps for normal skin, and soaps with different ingredients. If finding the right soap for your face gets overwhelming, see a dermatologist, who can help you determine your skin type and help you choose the right products.
There are a lot of different kinds of bath soaps for your body. Some can moisturize your skin. Some lather up more than others. Other soaps have strong perfume scents and still others smell more like fruit. The scent you chose is based entirely on personal preference, and the formula you get will depend on your skin type. For example, a cream soap works best on dry skin.
You also have your choice between soaps that are in bar form and those that are in liquid form. Hand soaps work well in a pump placed by the sink. Creamy bath soaps can come in liquid form and lather nicely in the bathtub. You can also find formulas that have natural and organic ingredients.
With so many kinds of soaps on the market, it can be difficult to choose. Just remember to keep in mind what your personal skin needs are and purchase the formula that is best for your needs. Also, choose soaps with a fragrance that agrees with you and goes well with any perfume you wear.
