ok i have 3 bottles of cologne (Acqua Di Gio, Cool Water & Tommy Hilfiger) that i have had for many years. the Tommy ive had for almost 12 years. all 3 bottles smell kind of sour so i assume they went bad. they were stored in my bathroom medicine cabinet a majority of that time. it does get alittle warm up here in the summer. my question is multiple part. as far as storing cologne in a cool dark place, what temperature should be the MAX? also i have about 30 diff. bottles and i dont want them to go to waste in a year or 2. if i use them normally will that help them stay good longer? the 3 i mentioned were used alot at first but then i stopped. i also have a bottle of Burberry that is 2 yrs old and still good. i have read that they last 1 year but i know its longer if stored properly. they also say 'if opened', do they mean taken out the box or uncapped? cause they all have caps except for one. i dont see how the box and an enclosed cabinet of some sort would be different.
