Hair Mask -

Scalp treatments are designed to treat oily, dry or acne prone scalps by conditioning and massaging the area. You can get your own scalp treatment in your home by using tea tree oil, joboba oil, deep conditioning treatment, shower cap, and large hair clips.

Begin by adding 5 drops of tea tree oil and 5 drops of jojoba oil to a salon quality shampoo (preferably an anti-dandruff shampoo). Massage the mixture into your hair and massage for 3 to 5 minutes. Rinse the hair and towel dry. Another method of a simple scalp treatment is to purchase an inexpensive deep conditioning treatment. Apply the mixture to the hair and cover with a shower cap and secure with large clips. Rinse out the mixture after 5 minutes.

Split End Treatment:

When you don't have the time or money to treat your split ends in a salon, try a split end treatment at home. One method of repairing split ends at home is by using 1 tsp of honey, 2 Tbsp of olive oil and 1 egg yolk. Begin by mixing the honey and olive oil in a small bowl. Next, beat in the egg yolk. Massage the mixture into the hair in sections. Cover your hair in a shower cap and let sit for 30 minutes. Rinse your hair out thoroughly with shampoo.

Another efficient split end treatment uses olive or avocado oil. Warm up the oil in the microwave and massage it into the hair, focusing on the ends. Wrap your hair in a warm towel (straight out of the dryer), and allow the oil to remain on the head for 7 hours or overnight. Rinse the hair out with a water and vinegar mixture.

For a hot oil hair salon treatment at home, you will need a cup of boiling water and a cup of olive oil. Mix the two together and carefully apply it to the hair while it's still warm. Cover the hair with a shower cap and let sit for 30 minutes. Rinse out with shampoo.

Hair Mask Treatment:

Hair salon treatments at home, such as a hair masks, are a very popular method of deep conditioning the hair to maintain softness. To do a hair mask at home, you will need olive oil, eggs, mayonnaise, a towel, a bowel and a shower cap. Begin by throwing a towel into the dryer so that it's warm by the time you will need it. In a bowl, mix together an egg (2 for long hair), 1 Tbsp of olive oil and 1 Tbsp of mayonnaise.

Wet your hair and apply the Hair Mask mixture throughout. Cover the hair with a shower cap along with the hot towel from the dryer. Allow it to sit for about 15 to 20 minutes and rinse. You will need to wash your hair with shampoo as this method can smell a little bad. Use this treatment about once a week for dry, frizzy, or colored-treated hair.
